Bachelor of Science in Education
USF St. Petersburg鈥檚 Bachelor of Science in Education prepares students to excel as effective, compassionate K鈥�12 educators. This 68-credit hour hybrid program allows graduates to earn dual certification in K鈥�5 Elementary Education and K鈥�12 Exceptional Student Education, along with Reading and ESOL endorsements. Small class sizes, personalized instruction, and hands-on experience ensure graduates are confident, classroom-ready professionals.

What to Expect
This cohort-based program blends online and in-person learning with three progressive internships in local schools. Students gain hands-on experience in both elementary and exceptional education classrooms, supported by seminars and mentoring from faculty and partner teachers. The program culminates with a final internship and portfolio, preparing students for Florida teacher certification and professional success.
