Biology Education Concentration
The Biology concentration in USF’s Science Education Program prepares future teachers
to help students investigate life science concepts through inquiry, experimentation,
and real-world applications. Students deepen their understanding of biological systems
while learning evidence-based teaching practices and completing field experiences
in secondary biology classrooms. Graduates are equipped to inspire curiosity, scientific
literacy, and meaningful exploration of the living world.

Chemistry Education Concentration

Physics Education Concentration
This concentration emphasizes the forces and principles that govern motion, energy, and the structure of the universe. You’ll gain the skills to guide students through challenging but rewarding physics concepts, helping them see the subject’s role in both technology and daily life.

It was just outstanding education, and the vast majority of my professors are experts. Overall, they really prepared me for the responsibility of what I was going to be doing.
