Eric Eisenberg, Ph.D.

Dr. Eric Eisenberg brings 30 years of experience at USF and strong ties within Tampa Bay to strengthen the university’s community partnership activities as the Senior Vice President of the Office of University Community Partnerships. Dr. Eisenberg works to support the university’s position as a transformational metropolitan research university in collaboration with its communities to fulfill USF’s strategic goal to be a significant social and economic engine by creating robust partnerships. As former Dean of the USF College of Arts and Sciences, previous Interim Provost, and a distinguished communication scholar, Dr. Eisenberg has partnered with numerous local public and private organizations throughout his career by advising them on strategic communication to improve organizational effectiveness.
Dan Caterinicchia

Dan Caterinicchia brings over 25 years of experience in higher education, and digital communications and marketing to his role as the ×îÐÂÌìÃÀ´«Ã½'s Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. Dan’s career began in Washington, D.C., working as a professional journalist, culminating in an editor role with The Associated Press.
Before Dan and his family moved to Tampa in 2022, he worked at The Ohio State University leading an Advancement Communications team that helped conclude a $3 billion campaign in 2016 and publicly launch another with the dual goals of $4.5 billion raised and one million donors three years later.
Since joining USF, Dan’s teams have consistently helped raise the bar for storytelling and marketing through USF's inclusion in the Association of American Universities (AAU), launching and promoting the Bellini College of Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity and Computing, groundbreaking for a new on-campus stadium, and promoting key corporate and community partnerships.
Veronica D. Maxwell
Director of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI)

Veronica D. Maxwell is the Director of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the University of South Florida, a role she has held since October 2022. As the third person to lead OLLI-USF, she brings a strong commitment to innovation, inclusion, and expanding lifelong learning opportunities for adults 50 and better.
Veronica earned her bachelor’s degree from the ×îÐÂÌìÃÀ´«Ã½, double majoring in Biology and African Studies, and holds a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in Career and Workforce Education, further reinforcing her passion for adult learning and educational access.
Her professional background includes seven years with Hillsborough County Aging Services as Senior Program Coordinator for Nutrition and Wellness, where she developed impactful programs for older adults and led initiatives in volunteer engagement, wellness education, and community outreach.
Veronica also served on the planning committee for the national OLLI conference in Washington, D.C., where she represented OLLI-USF among peers from 124 OLLIs across the country. Her leadership is grounded in collaboration, equity, and a belief that lifelong learning is a powerful tool for personal and collective transformation.
Outside of her work, Veronica is a devoted wife of over 20 years, mother of three sons, and an active member of her faith community, where she supports ministry efforts and outreach. She enjoys traveling, tennis, movies, and lifting others through connection and purpose.
Elizabeth A. Dunn, MPH, CPH
Instructor I, USF College of Public Health

Elizabeth Dunn’s experiences in the field span from working on public health projects in post-conflict settings to local disaster planning. These efforts involve examining grassroots initiatives for disaster response, conducting needs assessments, collecting and analyzing data for program planning and evaluation, and/or determining limitations and identifying innovative solutions for the improvement of current practices. Her current teaching activities are at the USF College of Public Health focusing on international humanitarian relief, disaster management (i.e., preparedness, mitigation, response, recovery), and citizen engagement in homeland security. She serves as the USF Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Director and Vice President of the Board for the Refugee and Migrant Women’s Initiative (RAMWI). Research interests include examining disaster management systems, developing strategies for building social capital through collaboration, and examining how the built environment and social determinants impact at-risk neighborhoods, population movements, and resettlement (i.e., evacuation orders, refugees, human trafficking).
