Center for Cryptographic Research holds 2025 CodeBreakHERS Summer camp
From June 23rd to June 27th , the Center for Cryptographic Research organized the 6th edition of the CodeBreakHERs summer camp. It is a weeklong summer program in cybersecurity featuring hands-on activities on network security, coding theory, cryptography, hardware security, and digital forensics.

Undergraduate math student Eion Mulrenin has been selected as a 2022 Florida Epsilon Chapter of PME Outstanding Scholar by the faculty of the USF Department of Mathematics and Statistics. This annual award recognizes a math senior for excellent academic achievement and dedication to mathematics.

A Center for Cryptographic Research
Professors Jean-Fran莽ois Biasse and Giacomo Micheli, along with USF Computer Science & Engineering professors Mehran Kermani and Attila Yavuz, have created a Center for Cryptographic Research at USF. It was launched with a grant from the USF Strategic Investment Pool and will have a particular interest in cybersecurity. Professor Biasse has been named its first director.
