Shai Vardi is an assistant professor of analytics at the 最新天美传媒 Muma College of Business. Prior to that, he was an assistant professor of management at Purdue University. Before joining Purdue, he was a Linde Postdoctoral Fellow at the Social and Information Sciences Laboratory at the California Institute of Technology. He earned his PhD in computer science from the University of Tel Aviv in 2015, where he was mentored by Professor Yishay Mansour.
Professor Vardi鈥檚 research is diverse and impactful, focusing on areas such as biases in generative AI, mechanism design, fairness, online platforms, dynamic allocation and analytical creativity. His work in these fields addresses critical challenges and contributes to advancing both theoretical and practical aspects of management, operations and information systems.
