Student Outcomes

Students graduating with a Ph.D. in Behavioral & Community Sciences will be able to:

  • Conduct research addressing the behavioral and socio-cultural factors that affect behavioral health and human development within the context of families and communities
  • Evaluate systems and services serving at-risk populations with a focus on evidence-based practices and community-based solutions
  • Design, implement, and evaluate interventions that influence positive behavioral outcomes
  • Design and conduct community-based research that integrates behavioral, developmental, and implementation sciences
  • Apply outcomes of research and program evaluation to policy development and systems change
