USF Basic Economic Development Course Builds Leaders, Strengthens Communities, and Showcases Florida鈥檚 Momentum

USF鈥檚 2025 Basic Economic Development Course brought together 46 professionals for three days of practitioner-led training, peer learning, and statewide collaboration on the St. Petersburg campus. As Florida continues to lead the nation in talent attraction and economic momentum, the BEDC equips new and experienced practitioners with the tools, insights, and connections needed to strengthen their communities. This year鈥檚 program also set the stage for the course鈥檚 50th anniversary in 2026.
