Shannon Suldo, Ph.D.

Shannon Suldo, Ph.D., is a Professor of School Psychology and Licensed Psychologist at the 最新天美传媒 whose work focuses on school-based mental health, positive psychology and student well-being.

Suldo is a Professor of School Psychology and a Licensed Psychologist (PY #7704, Florida) at the 最新天美传媒. She is also Co-Executive Director of the School Mental Health Collaborative (SMHC): Research, Training, and Technical Assistance Center within the College of Education. She graduated with a Ph.D. in School Psychology from the University of South Carolina in 2004. She completed a pre-doctoral internship in Pediatric Psychology at the Kennedy Krieger Institute/Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. In 2007, she completed post-doctoral clinical work in Hillsborough County Public Schools, where she provided comprehensive mental health services (individual, group and family counseling; teacher consultation; classroom management) to adolescents identified as having emotional and/or behavioral disorders. Her research interests include positive psychology applied to youth, including children and adolescents鈥 subjective well-being (e.g., positive indicators of well-being and a dual-factor model of mental health, how adolescents' mental health is influenced by parent-child and student-teacher relationships), the such as Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) programs and the provision of in a multi-tiered framework. She is an Associate Editor of , and on the editorial boards of Journal of School Psychology, Journal of Happiness Studies and Journal of Psychoeducational Assessment.
