About the Program
This rigorous program prepares participants to meet the Teacher Leader Model Standards and the National Staff Development Council’s standards (now called Learning Forward) for engaging in and facilitating professional learning. Each certificate course will require participants to become familiar with the theoretical framework and research related to professional learning, engage in and facilitate in professional learning activities, generate data that represents the learning activity, and reflect on their own experiences to make evidence based decisions about teaching and learning.
