Carol is a Biomedical Sciences major at the 最新天美传媒 with a passion for medicine, leadership, and service. She is the President and Founder of End Overdose at USF, Head Director of the BACE Program, and Vice President of Programming and Communications for the Dean鈥檚 Student Leadership Society. Carol is also an oncology technician at Moffitt Cancer Center and actively conducts clinical and biomedical research. As a first-generation Egyptian student, she is dedicated to mentorship, health equity, and empowering others to pursue meaningful impact in healthcare.

Laiba Ahmed

Laiba Ahmed is a sophomore from Pakistan majoring in Cell and Molecular Biology at the 最新天美传媒. She is currently a student in the Judy Genshaft Honors College and serves as a Resident Assistant on campus. She is actively involved in Asian Students in America (ASIA) and the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers (SASE), where she participates in cultural programming and student engagement initiatives. She plans to pursue graduate studies in genetic counseling with a focus on disease prevention, with long-term interests in translational research aimed at preventing infectious and genetic diseases. Outside of academic research, she enjoys reading, playing badminton, and trying new foods.

Sofia Akkaway is a freshman in the Honors College from New Jersey. She is majoring in Environmental Science with a minor in Philosophy. She is currently the President of the All In Coalition, and is a part of the DSLS Mentee program. Overall, she wants to earn her PhD in Environmental Conservation and go on to help conservation efforts around the world.

Milena Autero

Milena Autero is an international studies and history double major at the College of Arts and Sciences. Her interest in international affairs began early on having lived in Bolivia as a child and growing up between Finland and Florida. As a result, Milena speaks 3 languages- English, Finnish, and Spanish. At USF, she is a member of the Future Strategist Program and is currently conducting research on Chinese and Russian intervention in the MENA (Middle East North Africa) region. Milena is also a former U.S. solo ice dance national champion and currently competes for the USF Figure Skating Club. After her undergraduate years, she intends to go onto graduate studies in international relations and pursue a career blending national security concerns and diplomacy to shape U.S. foreign policy. This summer, she plans on attending Cambridge's International Security and Intelligence Programme.

He is the Founding President of Chart to Heart, a student-led organization dedicated to strengthening physician-patient empathy and communication in healthcare. Daniel has extensive clinical experience as an EMT, ER technician, medical assistant, and firefighter, which has shaped his commitment to trauma care and emergency medicine. He is actively involved in multidisciplinary research spanning stroke rehabilitation, hospice caregiver stress, microsurgical reconstruction, and cognitive neuroscience. As a first-generation college student raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Daniel is passionate about mentorship, health equity, and building systems that humanize medicine. After graduation, he plans to attend medical school and pursue a career in trauma surgery or emergency medicine while continuing to advocate for compassionate, patient-centered care.

Leticia Cruz Casimiro is a freshman from Recife, Brazil, majoring in Biomedical Sciences on the pre-med track. She serves as the Marketing Chair for Medlife and volunteers with Project Sunshine, where she supports children at the Children鈥檚 Cancer Center through creative activities such as painting, making slime, and leading hands-on crafts that bring light and joy during difficult times. She aspires to pursue a career in medicine, with a strong interest in pediatrics and potentially pediatric oncology. In her free time, she enjoys playing soccer and tennis, spending time with friends, and making the most of every moment. At DSLS, she looks forward to collaborating with driven USF students while building meaningful friendships and connections.

Ambika Chottani is a first-generation Indian American student at the University of South Florida, where she is pursuing a degree in Biomedical Sciences in the Judy Genshaft Honors College on the pre-med track. She is deeply passionate about the intersection of medicine, education, and social equity, and hopes to approach her future career as a physician with empathy and a strong understanding of the social and cultural factors that shape health. At USF, Ambika serves as a project lead with Florida MedConnect, where she mentors research groups as they develop academic posters for presentation at USF Research Day. She is also involved with Project Period, working on initiatives to reduce period poverty and expand menstrual health education in the Tampa Bay community. Through these experiences, she has developed a passion for interdisciplinary work that connects healthcare with community advocacy and education. Alongside her campus involvement, Ambika is pursuing clinical shadowing and other hands-on opportunities to deepen her understanding of patient care and the medical field. She is particularly interested in specialties such as oncology and pediatrics, drawn to medicine because at its core it is about caring for people and supporting patients through some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. As a member of the Dean鈥檚 Student Leadership Society, she is excited to connect with other driven students and continue developing the leadership and service skills that will guide her future in medicine.

Mariah Cornielle is a freshman political science major, with an expected graduation in the fall of 2026 at the 最新天美传媒. She is driven by her lifelong goal to become a lawyer, cultivated by her passion for law and assisting individuals who can鈥檛 help themselves. She has indulged in various volunteer and educational opportunities, including a 7-month-long internship under a local attorney. Mariah is currently a member of the Dean's Student Leadership Society and Phi Alpha Delta, where she is keen on being heavily involved and contributing to the USF community. In addition to her studies, she loves serving at her church body, running outside, going to the beach, and watching football. She plans to attend law school after graduation and pursue a career in corporate law.

He is also actively involved in research at USF and international collaboration, where he seeks to explore new ideas and produce quality publications. Outside of academic interests, he has an interest for playing chess and video games.

She has a strong desire to serve others, take on leadership roles, and eventually work in medicine. Currently, Madison is the Fundraising Chair for Healing Hands United and a SMART Lab Tutor. Furthermore, she is actively involved in organizations like Who We Play For and Big Sister Little Sister, where she supports mentorship and community engagement programs. In her free time, Madison volunteers at St. Joseph鈥檚 hospital. Through her background in science, business, and service she wishes to make a significant contribution to healthcare as a future doctor.

Clare Falce is a dual major in Political Science and Criminology at the University of South Florida. She is an active member of Delta Gamma, where she has held multiple leadership roles, including Honor Board Member at Large. Clare is also a member of Phi Beta Kappa, FSL Ambassadors, Gift of Life, and intramural sports across campus. Professionally, she works as a paralegal at Levy & Levy and serves as a legislative intern for the Florida House of Representatives. Abigail Findlay

Abigail is a second-year Chemistry major at the 最新天美传媒. Originally from Kingston, Jamaica, she is deeply influenced by her Caribbean heritage which has instilled in her a strong sense of community, identity and adaptability. After graduation, she plans to pursue a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry and Drug Discovery, with the ultimate goal of becoming a Research Scientist focused on the intersection of chemistry and neuroscience. In particular, the relationship between the brain and body鈥檚 response to long-term drug use. Currently, Abigail is engaged in undergraduate research in Analytical Chemistry and Pediatric Oncology, where she is committed to gaining hands-on laboratory experience to strengthen her scientific and research skills. Beyond academics, she is passionate about creativity and serves as the graphic designer for the Caribbean Cultural Exchange at USF. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, reading and hanging out with friends. By combining her dedication to academics and creativity, she aims to make a lasting and meaningful contribution to DSLS and the College of Arts and Sciences community on a whole.

Devanshi Gollamudi is a freshman majoring in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Addiction Sciences. She is passionate about working with underserved and minority populations and addressing social issues that affect healthcare access and patient outcomes. At USF, she is involved with the MedLife chapter and serves as the Inclusion Chair for Phi Delta Epsilon. She works with the SWIRL Lab, studying how community conditions influence mental and physical well-being. She also enjoys her time working as a medical assistant at a medspa and volunteering at Camp Boggy Creek and with IDEA Exchange. Starting as a passion project, Devanshi founded Diversity Care, a program that teaches elementary students about different cultures, believing that open minds start young. In her free time, she enjoys coaching free self-defense classes and cooking for friends and family. After college, she plans to attend medical school, with interests in emergency medicine, psychiatry, and women鈥檚 health.

Paula is an undergraduate student at the 最新天美传媒 majoring in Psychology with a minor in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). She serves as a Research Assistant in the I-CARE Lab, where she supports research examining how social identities and systemic factors influence health and well-being across communities. Paula is also involved with Tampa Pediatric Psychology, advocating clinical setting that provides evidence-based therapy and psychological support for children, adolescents, and families.
In addition to her academic and research involvement, Paula serves as the Content Chair for the Undergraduate Psychology Association and the Vice President of the Neuroscience Student Organization. She also volunteers with the Guardian ad Litem program, advocating for the best interests of children involved in the dependency court system. Through her research, clinical exposure, and community involvement, Paula is passionate about advancing psychological care and improving outcomes for children and families.

Madison Hansen is a freshman student from Orono, Minnesota. She is majoring in Biomedical Sciences. At USF, she is a member of the figure skating club, USF Friends of MSF, and Vice President of the crochet club. Back home, she works as a gymnastics coach. Outside of school, she enjoys hanging out with friends, travelling, and spending time outdoors. Post-grad, Madison plans to attend medical school to become an MD.

Some hobbies of Allison include drawing, sketching, playing piano, traveling, and listening to music. Her future aspirations are to earn her BS in biology and to get accepted into medical school and eventually pursue her career as a dermatologist.

Cameran Isler is a freshman from Orlando, Florida. Cameran is double majoring in political science and philosophy, following a pre-law track. Cameran has worked closely with the Florida Civics and Debate Initiative (FCDI) to advance civic engagement and education in students in grades 6-12. At USF, Cameran participates in the Undergraduate Research Society and is currently engaged in a research project investigating the effect of microplastics in our food. In addition, Cameran is a proud member of Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity and Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science Society. Beyond academic life, Cameran has a passion for the arts and physical activity, often found hip-hop dancing or skateboarding around campus. Cameran鈥檚 leisure time also includes enjoying episodes of The Office. Cameran's goals are set on earning a law degree and securing a governmental position. With a strong foundation built at USF, Cameran aspires to become a future leader in the legal and political arenas.

A'Niya Jackson

A'Niya Jackson is a first-year student in the Honors College at the University of South Florida. She is pursuing a major in microbiology with a minor in biomedical anthropology. She is a current member of the National Society of Black Women in Medicine, Motivating Black Students into Medicine, Golden Bulls Dance Club, and a current Board member of the Dance Club at USF. Her academic journey is marked by a strong commitment to community involvement at USF. Her goal is to pursue an MD, with a specialty in internal medical or infectious diseases, driven by her passion for medicine and a desire to improve health literacy and education. She has diverse volunteering experiences with various organizations, including Feeding Tampa Bay, Idea Exchange Tampa, and Advent Health Hospital. Outside of her studies, A'Niya enjoys dancing, baking, reading, and pilates.

Bhargav Kadiyala is a freshman in the Judy Genshaft Honors College from Tampa, Florida. As an active member of the Tampa Bay community and a student at USF, Bhargav avidly participates in many organizations, including the Students of India Association (SIA), where he serves as the event鈥檚 co-chair, and is an active member of clubs such as Rotaract and Red Cross. Bhargav is majoring in biology with a concentration in medical sciences and plans to declare a minor by the end of Spring 2024. As a valuable supplement to his academics, Bhargav loves to spend his time in extracurricular activities that not only help him relax but also allow him to learn something new and give back to the USF and Tampa communities. Some of these activities include volunteering for the Humane Society and the VA. After graduation, Bhargav plans to apply for medical school. Though he is not yet sure where he will apply, he continues to dedicate himself to academics and extracurriculars, ensuring his success in future educational endeavors.

Born and raised in Tampa, FL, with roots in Tripoli, Libya, she is passionate about diplomacy and international affairs. She is on the Foreign Service Officer Track, aspiring to become an ambassador between Libya and the U.S. Oswa currently serves as a Student Engagement Coordinator Intern for USF Student PIRGs and a Digital Engagement Specialist for USF. In her free time, she enjoys writing poetry, reading, and hosting her podcast, The Libyan Diaspora.

Megha Kalia is a first-year student at the Judy Genshaft Honors College at the University of South Florida, majoring in biology with a minor in psychology. She aspires to become a physician and is interested in dermatopathology, where she hopes to combine her passion for clinical care and skin-related diseases. Her research interests include epidemiology and genetics, and she is currently conducting research with the Tampa General Hospital neurosurgery department and serving as a research assistant at Moffitt Cancer Center. She has presented at various research conferences and plans to work as a medical assistant in the summer to expand her clinical experience. She also volunteers at several institutions around Tampa, including Tampa General Hospital and AdventHealth. On campus, she is involved with the Honors College events and serves as fundraising chair for Tiny Treasures, a student organization supporting NICU babies with essential care items. Outside of academics, she enjoys traveling, dancing, and trying new foods.

Neha is a first year student from Austin, Texas majoring in Biology w/ a medicine
concentration and a health informatics minor. She strives to become a physician, aiming
to assist each patient with a holistic and passionate use of care. She is an active
part of Moffitt Cancer Center as a clinical research assistant and a volunteer at
AdventHealth. In her lab, Neha researches tumor suppression to various treatment specialities
using mathematical oncology. She has a love for volunteering at various clinics, and
is driven to give back to the community. Neha is excited to continue presenting her
research on CAR-T cells & GERD and will be expanding her clinical experience through
working as a Medical Assistant throughout her years. Outside of academics, she is
a junior captain of USF鈥檚 Raas team and loves watching every sport (even if she doesn鈥檛
know any of the rules.)

Sheena Kurakula is a Cell and Molecular Biology major in the Honors College from Sarasota,
Florida. She conducts neuroscience research and founded a nonprofit focused on community
health, the Healthy Hand and Hygiene. She hopes to become a physician and enjoys dance,
caring for her plants, and hiking.

Maria Lalichan

Maria Lalichan is a Psychology major with a minor in Biology at the University of
South Florida, pursuing a career in psychiatric pharmacy. She is an active member
of the Pre-Pharmacy Society and volunteers at AdventHealth and with Crisis Text Line.
Maria is also involved in research and is currently writing a paper on adherence to
psychiatric medications. This summer, she plans to obtain her pharmacy technician
license to further expand her clinical experience. She is passionate about improving
mental health outcomes through compassionate, patient-centered pharmaceutical care
and is honored to join the Dean鈥檚 Student Leadership Society.

Nichola "Nico" Lavaud is a freshman in the Honors College from Miami, Florida. Nichola
is majoring in political science and economics, minoring in philosophy, and is on
the pre-law track. Nichola serves as the Assistant Director of Administration for
the Village Area Council and is a USF Ambassador. Outside of his studies, Nichola
volunteers as a museum docent at the Florida Holocaust Museum and will study the Holocaust
during an Experience Abroad in Germany and Poland this summer. After graduation, Nichola
plans to attend law school to work in human rights law.

Jeffrey Lee is a sophomore from Princeton, New Jersey, pursuing a degree in psychology
at the 最新天美传媒. He serves as a patient care technician at Orlando
Health Bayfront Hospital and tutors STEM subjects, including biology, chemistry, and
physics, for USF Athletics. Additionally, he works as a personal trainer at USF Recreation
& Wellness and engages in research at the Ju Lab, where he contributes to projects
in synthetic organic chemistry. Jeffrey is also a member of Phi Delta Epsilon and
is committed to the pre-medicine track. Outside of his academic and professional pursuits,
he enjoys spending time playing sports such as basketball and pickleball.

Jordyn Lewis

Jordyn Lewis is a first-year Honors student from Boca Raton, Florida majoring in Mass
Communications. She has a strong passion for storytelling and reporting and is actively
involved in sports broadcasting on campus.During the Fall and Spring 2025鈥�2026 semesters,
Jordyn accepted an internship with a company that produces athletic broadcasts that
stream on ESPN+ and ESPN2. She has worked in multiple roles including camera operator,
technical director, replay operator, engineer assistant, and the 鈥渆xtra set of hands鈥�
wherever needed. Her long-term goal is to become an NFL sideline reporter. In her
free time, Jordyn enjoys staying active, trying new things (hopefully swimming with
sharks this year), watching sports 鈥� shoutout to the Chicago Bears 鈥� and reminding
everyone that yes, she will be on your TV one day.

Marguerite Michael is currently a junior Information Sciences major on an Intelligence Analysis track. She hopes to take her passion to law school where she will work to advocate for Domestic Violence and SA victims throughout the U.S. through her advocacy and unwavering dedication to law and society. In her free time, Marguerite loves to lift weights, code, and advocate for females in the fitness realm through her club CHAARG on campus.

advocacy, and serving disadvantaged and minoritized communities, she aspires to become
a psychiatrist. She is currently a member of the Community Engagement Committee for
the National Society of Black Women in Medicine and is a research assistant with the
integration of immigration laws and mental health research lab with Augusta University.
Nickelle frequently participates in volunteer work, including AdventHealth, the Boys
and Girls Club of Central Florida, the Children鈥檚 Home Network, and Chapter鈥檚 Health
System. In her free time, she enjoys leading bible studies on campus, traveling with
family and friends, and playing music on the flute, piano, guitar, and ukulele.

Ryan Murphy

Ryan Murphy is a junior majoring in Political Science and Sociology and is originally
from Jacksonville, Florida. He plans to attend law school and pursue a career in family
law, with the goal of helping improve opportunities for children and strengthening
families within society. Ryan holds a paralegal certificate and works as a court reporter,
gaining firsthand experience observing the legal process. He is also a member of Phi
Alpha Delta and volunteers at the Tampa Humane Society helping care for animals in
need. Outside of school, Ryan enjoys watching sports and working on cars.

Anagha Nagamalli is a second-year pre-med student at the 最新天美传媒, originally from Land O' Lakes, Florida. She is pursuing a major in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Public Health, following a pre-medical track. She holds leadership roles as the Shadowing Director for Pre-Med Map and as a Relay for Life Manager with the American Cancer Society. She actively volunteers at Moffitt Cancer Center and has participated in research presentations at conferences such as FURC and USF Health. Currently, she is working toward publishing her first research paper. Outside of academics, she enjoys creating pottery, reading, and shopping. She plans to attend medical school and become a cardiologist.

Duong Khanh Vinh Nguyen

Vinh Nguyen is an international student from Vietnam majoring in Biomedical Science.
He completed his first internship at Bureau Veritas Customer Service Vietnam, where
he served as a Microbiology Lab Intern. During this time, he gained significant experience
in wet-lab experiments and gained professional conduct within an international working
environment. Currently, he volunteers at AdventHealth hospital and is eager to pursue
further opportunities in lab research, internships, and networking. Beyond his academic
pursuits, Vinh served as the former Dance Coordinator for the Vietnamese Student Association
and as the Vice President Internal of Thai Heritage Arts and Identity at USF. In his
free time, he enjoys playing the piano, playing chess, and swimming.

Tralina Nguyen is a junior from Ocala, Florida majoring in Political Science with
a minor in Legal Studies on the pre-law track. She currently serves on the executive
committee of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. After graduation, she plans to attend
law school with aspirations of becoming a corporate lawyer, combining her passions
for law, government, and business. Outside of academics, Tralina enjoys going to the
gym, baking, and exploring new places and foods.

Amanda Perez
Biomedical Sciences

Amanda Perez is a first-year biomedical sciences major at 最新天美传媒
with a strong interest in pursuing a pre-pharmacy pathway. She previously conducted
research at Florida International University, where she studied pulmonary arterial
endothelial cells and investigated cellular responses related to respiratory health.
Through this work, she gained hands-on experience in cell culture techniques, laboratory
analysis, and scientific presentation. Amanda advanced from regional to state fairs
in 2024-2025 until in 2025, she was invited to be a finalist at the Regeneron International
Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF). She is currently a neuropharmacy intern at ThinkNeuro
and is preparing for a biomedical research internship in the summer. She is passionate
about biomedical research and the application of chemistry and biology to improve
patient care. Her goal is to pursue a PharmD at the Taneja College of Pharmacy with
a concentration in neuropharmacological research. Through leadership, research, and
service, Amanda is committed to academic excellence and to contributing meaningfully
to the future of healthcare.

Shayla is an aspiring pathologist pursuing a bachelor鈥檚 degree in Biomedical Sciences
at the 最新天美传媒, with minors in Art Studio and Deaf Studies. Originally
from Tampa, Florida, she developed an early interest in medicine. She is currently
involved in cancer research at Moffitt Cancer Center and is dedicated to volunteering
at both Moffitt Cancer Center and Tampa General Hospital, driving her passion for
oncology and pathology. She has presented her research at conferences including the
NCRC, FURC, and YURC. Beyond academics, Shayla finds inspiration through art museums,
painting, and traveling.

Brady Quinn

Brady Quinn is a second year honor student from Canton, Michigan, majoring in Mass
Communications. He has a deep passion for storytelling and visual media and is actively
involved in photography and videography projects on campus.
During Summer 2024, Brady studied abroad with the 最新天美传媒 in Florence Program. Brady served
as a Resident Assistant, works with the big biology podcast, and is working with the
USF Athletics Creative Internship Program. His long-term goals include working with
Saturday Night Live or contributing to National Geographic documentary productions.
He values communication, storytelling, and innovation, seeking to make a meaningful
impact through media and student engagement. He is not the best cook but would like
to get better. He enjoys sports, fashion, reading, and going to the gym.

Ruca Rhoton

Ruca is a junior and first-year student at the 最新天美传媒 within
the School of Interdisciplinary Global Studies, pursuing a bachelor鈥檚 degree in political
science on a pre-law track. With the aspirations of becoming an attorney, Ruca is
gaining experience and familiarizing herself with the field of law through shadowing
and assisting a local attorney as she strives to build her skills in professional
advocacy, legal research, and client interactions. In addition to her academic pursuits,
Ruca is dedicated to community involvement and remains a passionate advocate for agriculture
and youth education. As a member of the IMPACT team- an organization focused on developing
youth educational curriculums related to agriculture - Ruca dedicates her free time
to mentoring students to educate them about agriculture and involves herself in educational
committees to ensure the success of each program. In her free time, Ruca can be found
exploring with friends, going on hikes, reading a good book, or discovering her creativity
in the kitchen.

Michelle Rodriguez

Michelle Rodriguez is a sophomore in the Judy Genshaft Honors College majoring in Biomedical Sciences. She is from Tampa, Florida and would like to go into medical school after graduation so that she can become a physician in the future. Michelle serves as an executive board member for numerous clubs at USF, including the United Nations Association, Pre-Health Training Society, and Survivor: TriBull Council. In her free time, she volunteers as a translator at the BRIDGE Clinic on campus and works with foster children through Guardian ad Litem.

Elise Runser

Elise is a Biomedical Sciences major at the 最新天美传媒 and has a
passion for helping others, serving her community, and exploring medicine. Her goal
is to pursue an MD and a residency in reconstructive plastic surgery. In her free
time, she is a cantor for the USF Catholic Student Center and is currently on the
E-Board for Storm Area Council. She enjoys staying fit by strength training at the
Rec Center and jogging on Saturday mornings around campus. She loves plot twist movies
and spending time with her family. Elise has grown up in both Maryland and Hawaii
and USF鈥檚 supportive community has made her feel at home.

Umama Saifuddin

Umama Saifuddin is a Biomedical Sciences major in the Judy Genshaft Honors College
at the 最新天美传媒. She serves as the Volunteer Committee Co-Chair
for the Honors College Student Council and is a Resident Assistant for the Honors
Living Learning Community. Passionate about service and community engagement, Umama
has completed over 200 hours of volunteer work through initiatives at her mosque and
campus organizations. She hopes to pursue a career in medicine and is particularly
interested in oncology and cardiology. In her free time, she enjoys organizing events,
connecting with others through service, and exploring new cultures.

Amber Sarpal

Amber is a freshman from Pennsylvania majoring in Biology. She is part of the LECOM
Early Acceptance Program and hopes to pursue a career in women鈥檚 health as a physician.
She is involved in several medical and cultural organizations at USF, and is in the
process of finding a research project to expand her scientific interests. Amber has
strong passions for community service, encouraging diversity, learning, leadership,
and medicine. Outside of academics, Amber enjoys spending time with friends and family,
going to the gym, baking, and playing instruments.

Jordan Sevene

Jordan Sevene is a sophomore pursuing a Biology major on the pre-veterinary track
with a minor in Environmental Science and Policy. She works as a SMART Lab tutor,
front desk assistant on campus and an emergency room veterinary assistant at home.
She is involved in bioinformatics research with the University of Florida studying
gene sequences in crustaceans related to zoonotic diseases and also serves as a teaching
assistant for a UF course known as the Cat Class. Outside of academics, she enjoys
going to the gym, shopping, spending time at the beach, and being with friends. After
graduating from USF, she plans to attend veterinary school and pursue a career in
emergency medicine, surgery, or dermatology.

Mohini Sharma

Mohini Sharma is a freshman Biomedical Sciences major in the Honors College. She is a Hagan Scholar, a student researcher exploring bacteriophages, and volunteers with many different organizations at and around USF, including the BRIDGE Healthcare Clinic, Moffitt Cancer Center, and the ADCL Lab. She鈥檚 participated in many clubs around USF including Thread Magazine, SPARKS magazine, Medi-Futures, Honors Student Council, the BACE program, and iBuddy. She is passionate about helping underserved communities around Tampa and plans to attend medical school after graduation with the goal of becoming an ophthalmologist.

Presley Shilkitus is a 2nd year Political Science student with a strong passion for urban development, progressive legislation, and helping others. She is member of Phi Alpha Delta Fraternity and is a familiar face at Project Downtown volunteer efforts. Her goal is work in the White House as Chief of Staff, providing the American people with the most efficient administration to date. When not in class or working, Presley enjoys yoga, reading, and taking care of her cat.

Anika Shrivastava

Anika Shrivastava is a current freshman, studying the major of Econometrics and Quantitative Economics. After moving to three different countries鈥擩apan, India, and the United States鈥攕he truly learned to be an adaptive and social individual while understanding the value of diversity. She plans to pursue a career as a business management consultant and/or marketing analyst. As a USF student, Anika is involved in many organizations that contribute to her professional and holistic growth. She is a part of Mizrana, which is a Bollywood fusion dance team. Additionally, she contributes to her residential community by being a part of the Storm Area Council and organizing events. She is also professionally involved as a pledge for Delta Sigma Pi and as a social media and marketing intern for 9yaps, a student-run company that partners with local businesses. In her free time, Anika enjoys dancing, going to the beach, hiking, trying new cuisines, and meeting new people.

Maya Singh is from Orlando, Florida and is a freshman at the 最新天美传媒.
Maya is a biology major on the pre-medical track and is interested in anything neurology-based.
Maya is pursuing a career in research pertaining to neurodegenerative diseases and
hoping to help patients with . Other than academics, Maya is interested in community
service, crocheting, and art. In her free time, she tutors math and science at the
local middle school and volunteers at a chemistry education lab. She also is a part
of the Bulls for Moffitt club on campus and occasionally plays bingo at hope lodge.
She also enjoys going to the crochet club at USF, and has been able to use this hobby
as a way to channel her creativity.

Karyna Smirnova

Karyna Smirnova is a student at the 最新天美传媒 majoring in Econometrics
and Quantitative Economics with a minor in Psychology. Originally from Belarus, she
values academic excellence, leadership, and continuous learning. She serves as Director
of Corporate Strategy in the Investment Club at USF, where she leads strategic initiatives,
supports event planning, and mentors student analysts. Karyna also works as a tutor
at the Student Success Center, supporting students in Statistics, Microeconomics,
Macroeconomics, and Principles of Financial Accounting. Passionate about economics
and finance, she plans to conduct research exploring the connections between politics
and economic outcomes.

Lindsey Smith

Lindsey Smith is a freshman in the Judy Genshaft Honors College from Pembroke Pines, Florida. Lindsey is double majoring in International Studies and Psychology with a special interest in cultural studies. Lindsey is interested in pursuing a career in human rights and hopes to work with international organizations such as the UNHCR. Aside from her studies, Lindsey enjoys music and dedicates her time to giving free music lessons with the Do Re Mi Project. Lindsey is also a member of the USF rowing club, and she likes to spend her free time running, biking, or embarking on other outdoor activities. Lindsey鈥檚 love for learning new cultures expands to her interest in traveling, and she will be joining the USF Honors College on a trip to Germany in May where she plans to spend an additional week exploring other European countries.

Amelia Soler-Sala

Amelia is a Junior at USF, pursuing a double major in International Studies and Political Science on a pre-law track. Born and raised in New England, Amelia grew up in Massachusetts, Vermont, and New York, and currently resides in New Hampshire. In her two years at USF, Amelia has been fortunate enough to work with USF Model United Nations as a member of their executive board, interned with USF PIRG, and acted as a volunteer Russian-to-English language translator for refugee patients at USF Morsani Healthcare. Amelia hopes to channel the valuable skills into her postgraduate education, and eventually in her career as an international lawyer.

Man Vu is a Psychology major at the 最新天美传媒 originally from Vietnam.
She is still discovering the exact path she wants to pursue, but she is deeply interested
in research and mental health, with a desire to better understand people and the emotions
that shape them. She loves writing as a quiet way to express her thoughts and process
experiences. Outside of academics, she enjoys hunting for secondhand clothes and antiques,
reading, watching documentaries, and spending time in cozy spaces that allow her to
reflect. Man Vu hopes to become more involved in the USF community while continuing
to grow, explore, and learn more about herself and others.

Yanique Walters

Yanique Walters is a sophomore at the 最新天美传媒 majoring in Biology
on the pre-medical track. Aspiring to become a physician, Yanique is dedicated to
clinical excellence and community leadership. She currently serves as an intern for
a podiatry practice, gaining hands-on experience in patient care. On campus, she is
an active member of both Motivating Black Students into Medicine (MBSM) and the National
Council of Negro Women (NCNW). Yanique is deeply passionate about social advocacy
within healthcare, specifically focusing on decreasing behavioral health disparities
in children. In her free time, she stays grounded by going to the gym, spending quality
time with her loved ones, and exploring new hobbies.

Lorelei Wilson

Lorelei is a freshman, microbiology major on a pre-med track. She is from Largo, Florida and maintains a strong passion for leadership. Additionally, Lorelei is intrigued by public health and plans to pursue a career as a doctor of infectious disease. Lorelei is currently a part of the FMC big - little mentorship program and is actively participating in a research project relating to the diagnosis and management of GERD. Besides her love of medicine, Lorelei enjoys staying active by participating in a variety of hobbies, which, include pickleball, running, and boxing to name a few.
