Kenneth Hamner is an assistant professor of instruction in the School of Management at the 最新天美传媒 Muma College of Business, where he teaches courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels through the Nault Center for Entrepreneurship.

He has taught classes in artificial intelligence, mergers and acquisitions, the new space economy, intellectual property, business plan development, and principles of entrepreneurship. He also judges business plan competitions, guest lectures in venture capital and private equity and exit planning, and mentors entrepreneurship students.  

For over 35 years, Hamner has experience in finance, accounting, consulting, and law. He manages and directs all primary practice areas of the Entrepreneur Law Center, P.L. He is also the managing member of Encompass Advisory Group, an investment banking and consulting firm.  Hamner was a partner and general counsel for several ventures.

Previously, Hamner was the managing partner and director of corporate, international and tax services for a law firm. He also served as the Chief Financial Officer for three international companies, where he structured equity and debt financing, and international transactions with suppliers, customers, and distributors. 

Ken was the founder and editor-in-chief of the Florida State University Business Review, an academic journal focusing on business and legal issues housed at FSU's College of Law.  

Hamner earned a Juris Doctor and MBA from FSU, a master's degree in entrepreneurship in applied technologies from USF, an Executive Master of Accounting in Forensic Accounting from Florida Atlantic University, a Master of Space Economy from the Space Economy Institute, and bachelor's degrees in accounting and finance from George Mason University. 

Hamner is licensed to practice law before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, the U.S. Tax Court, the U.S. Court of International Trade, and in Florida. He is also a Certified Exit Planning Advisor, a Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor, a Master Analyst in Financial Forensics, a Certified Fraud Examiner, a Certified Business Intermediary, and is licensed as a Real Estate Broker in Florida.
