The School of Information Systems hosts and participates in many initiatives, partnering with companies and schools to offer events and engagement with the Tampa Bay community. These include boot camps, the Center for Analytics & Creativity, and the DoL Tech Hire grant.

Academic perfection: Six Muma students receive the King O'Neal Scholar Award

12/08/25 — The award honors graduates who completed their baccalaureate degrees with a perfect 4.0 GPA. This fall's recipients include four accounting majors and two business analytics and information systems majors.

12/04/25 — Bhuvanesh Unhelkar, a professor in the School of Information Systems, reunited with the medical staff who treated him after a fall from a horse on a Wyoming mountain that left him with multiple spinal injuries.
