William E. Haley, PhD, distinguished university professor in the School of Aging Studies, recently returned from Chile, where he served on the evaluating panel for the Millennium Institute for Care Research (MICARE Institute).

MICARE is a multidisciplinary research institute dedicated to advancing understanding of care across the life course, particularly for older adults and people with disabilities. The visit was part of an international evaluation process organized by Chile鈥檚 national research funding agency.

"It was a wonderful opportunity and an honor to participate in the evaluation of the MICARE Institute,鈥 said Haley. 鈥淥ur shared goals of improving care and well-being across the lifespan make this an especially meaningful connection, and I look forward to the possibility of continued collaboration with the organization in the future.鈥
