Why Aren't My Pages Publishing to Test?
If you are editing content on a CMS page and receive a 404 error page when publishing the page to Test, try one (or both) of these solutions:
Publish All Sub-Navs to Test
Problem
You receive a 404 error page when trying to publish /florida/manatees/index.pcf to Test because the _sub-nav file in /florida/pelicans/ is not published to Test.
Solution
Publish all _sub-nav files linked in the Main Navigation to Test, even if you're editing a page in a different website section.
Publish Props and Index Files to Test
Problem
You receive a 404 error page when trying to publish /florida/manatees/index.pcf to Test because the _props and index files of /florida/manatees/ is not published to Test.
Solution
Publish the _props and index files within the website section to Test.
Publish side-navs to Test
Problem
You receive a 404 error page when trying to publish /florida/manatees/index.pcf to Test because the _sidenav.html file of /florida/manatees/ is not published to Test.
Solution
Publish the _sidenav.html file within the website section to Test.
Publish Widgets to Test
Problem
You receive a 404 error page when trying to publish /florida/index.pcf to Test because the widgets linked on the homepage are not published to Test.
Solution
Publish the widgets linked on the homepage to Test (and Production).
