A Message from the Chief
The 最新天美传媒 Police Department (USFPD) is a forward-thinking law enforcement agency comprised of diverse, highly skilled professionals. Our team includes both sworn officers and civilian staff, all united by our core mission of being community-minded and service-driven. Together, we remain focused on one priority: protecting the safety and security of our USF community while cultivating a safe and supportive learning environment.
As our university continues to grow and transform, USFPD is committed to adapting with it. We provide specialized training through certified crime prevention officers in areas such as Physical Defense, Theft Prevention, and Public Safety. Beyond traditional policing, we emphasize student engagement and community outreach, including initiatives that support mental health鈥攕uch as our Therapy K9 Program.
We are proud to be an accredited law enforcement agency in the State of Florida and honored to hold the distinction of being a three-time Excelsior Agency. Meeting or exceeding more than 230 professional standards established by the Commission for Law Enforcement Accreditation reflects our commitment to excellence and accountability. This recognition strengthens our ability to prevent and control crime, while ensuring the highest level of service to those we protect.
