- Tampa Bay shows a steady upward trend in educational attainment. Its share of adults with a bachelor’s degree or higher rises from roughly 31–32% in the early 2010s to around 37– 38% by 2024. This positions Tampa Bay in the middle tier of all metros but shows consistent improvement over the decade, signaling ongoing gains in workforce qualification and talent retention.
- Raleigh–Durham, Austin, Seattle, Minneapolis, and Denver consistently lead the group, with 2024 levels ranging from approximately 48% to 54%. These regions maintain a clear and persistent advantage across the entire 2013–2024 period.
- Jacksonville, Orlando, St. Louis, and San Antonio remain in the lower tier, with 2024 rates generally between 32% and 36%, reflecting slower growth and a continued gap relative to the top-performing metros.
